My girlfriend and I recently tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, no one we've been in contact has tested positive as well. We're feeling fine, despite a loss of smell for me and taste for her. To keep myself busy while quarantining, I wrote this blues song about it. Hope you enjoy!

Stay away from others, don't touch your face,
Don't overstay in no crowded place,
things are getting scary,
Let's just stay hunkered down.

It's been so long and the numbers haven't changed,
some people see a mask and they think you are deranged,
A simple mask fills so many with rage,
7 months later, there's no end in sight,
The world today full of so much fright,
When the numbers are the same,
but inside, you are insane,
it's the COVID fatigue blues

Well, the test came back positive today,
We certainly didn't know what to say,
So far, we are feeling just fine
I used to be so careful, guess I started to slip,
The coronavirus, what an awful trip,
Well, we're stuck at home just singing this song,
we've got the COVID Positive blues
